What are we looking for? 

HIBob is looking for a strategic Vice President of Partnerships to lead our global Partnership team and support our GTM strategy for our award-winning Bob platform. We’re looking for a forward thinking, collaborative leader who is passionate about growing a team at a company that is changing what people thought HR could do.

The Vice President (VP) of Partnerships will spearhead HiBob’s global partnership efforts, focused on crafting and managing comprehensive partner programs including advisory partners, technology collaborators, private equity firms, and brokers.This role is central to our strategic expansion and efficient growth, and directly contributes to HiBob's market positioning, revenue goals and offering to customers. This role will report directly to the Chief Business Officer.

**Note: We will only consider candidates located in the New York Metro Area or London Metro Area who are willing to work in our local office at least 2-3 days per week. We love collaborating and connecting with our team members in person and we hope you will too!**

What will you do?

Strategic Leadership and Program Strategy Development

  • Collaboratively develop a comprehensive vision for partnership engagement that aligns with HiBob’s overarching strategic goals
  • Build and execute a partnership strategy, identifying critical areas for investment and potential high-value partner segments to enhance HiBob’s market position and product offerings.

Partnership Development

  • Proactively identify, recruit, and secure new partnerships across various sectors, continuously expanding HiBob’s reach and capabilities.
  • Cultivate deep relationships with key partners, driving mutual value creation and long-term collaboration.

Team Leadership and Performance Management

  • Direct a team of partnership professionals and quota carriers, setting high performance standards and fostering a culture of achievement and continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and the professional growth of team members.

Financial Planning and Budget Management

  • Develop and manage the budget for the partnerships department, aligning financial resources with strategic priorities to maximize ROI.
  • Regularly track, analyze, and report on budgetary performance against KPIs, making adjustments as necessary to meet financial targets and optimize operational efficiency.

Innovative Program Design and Implementation

  • Innovate and oversee the implementation of tailored partner programs that effectively integrate with HiBob’s core operations and market strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including revenue operations and MIS, to establish processes that support and enhance partner programs.

Deal Influence and Closure

  • Take an active role in significant negotiations, leveraging partnerships to influence deal outcomes and ensure successful closures aligned with HiBob’s strategic sales initiatives.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Ensure strategic alignment across the organization by working closely with various teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to leverage synergies and enhance HiBob’s market offerings.

Metrics, Analytics and Reporting

  • Define and implement clear performance metrics and KPIs to measure and drive success in all partnership activities.
  • Produce regular reports that provide insights into the effectiveness of partnership strategies, financial performance, and areas for improvement.

Base salaries for this role range from $200,000-$270,000. Additionally this role has a variable compensation component.

Our pay bands are wide because great candidates come to us with a broad range of experience and skill sets. When making individual pay rate decisions, we take into account the candidate’s depth of experience, their qualifications relative to incumbent employees, and their location - among other factors.

Requirements

Requirements are often considered a measure of how equipped you are to do the job, but sometimes, they aren’t the only factor. If you don’t have nearly enough experience, or not all the skills, we’d still like to hear from you. This could be the perfect fit for you and us.

  • 10+ years in partnership roles within the SaaS or HR tech industries, with a significant track record of developing successful partner programs.
  • Prior experience in a similar VP/ Senior Director role.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading quota-carrying teams.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities to drive partnership strategies and execution.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships and influencing negotiations.
